After taking medicine for years for headaches and neck pain, I realized that medicine is not an answer. It masks symptoms and does not treat the cause of a person's problem. The body will heal itself if it is functioning properly. THE CAUSE A PROBLEM IS THE ONLY CURE. With chiropractic and acupuncture I have learned to isolate the cause of nervous system interference and eliminate the cause of disease and/or dysfunction.

I had been in an accident when I was 16 and suffered with neck pain and headaches for five years. I was then waitressing putting myself through college studying pre-med and ironically I hurt my lower back lifting. A friend of mine literally "drug" me to the chiropractor. After being adjusted it did not dawn on me that I was standing up straight and my back didn't hurt...what was a miracle was that my neck pain and headache were GONE. It was like I could see again. It was at that moment that I dropped out of pre-medical studies and med school and went to chiropractic school.

"I went to Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa. My education was both challenging and fascinating. I graduated Summa Cum Laude. While I was in Chiropractic School I wanted to learn everything I could about diagnosis, the spine, the nervous system, and health and healing. My experience was life changing and awesome."

Our practice philosophy is simple...It is better to stay well than to get well. Everyone should have their spine and nervous system checked, analyzed, treated and maintained. Without a healthy spine and nervous system your body cannot and will not function properly. Health is more than absence of symptoms and absence of disease it is absence of dysfunction on every level.

Dr Julie Asks some important questions of interest to Celebration residents - Chiropractor Celebration Dr Julie Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What controls every cell, tissue and organ of your body?
DNA? Wrong. Immune system? Wrong? Hormones? Wrong. It's your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body. When a chiropractor sees a Celebration patient with say, stomach problems, we want to know why the brain is unable to properly control and regulate the stomach. Which prompts us to examine the nervous system—the focus of chiropractic care.
